Located on Harding Road, Au Petit Salut is on the first floor of a building, although this only adds to the marvellous view from the wooden terrace, a prime spot for those hoping to excite more than just the sense of taste and smell.

Looking over a richly verdant landscape, the elegant simplicity of the design, which incorporates dark woods and the purest white linen, perfectly captures the spirit of splendid French dining with more than a dash of tasteful country simplicity. Of course, all the marvellous scenery in world does not necessarily make for great food. This honour lies with the chef and a kitchen team able to realize a menu which promises special things.
Chef Patrick Heuberger is the creative genius behind the Gallic delights which seem to find their way to the table just when you can wait no longer. His résumé reads like something out of fantastic fiction. Beginning his two-decade affair with fine edibles at the young age of 15, he was apprenticed to the famous Michelin chef, Gille Dupont.

Out of this relationship, Patrick won the Best Apprentice award in Switzerland, his home country. From then, he worked all over the world, again collecting the experience from many Michelin-starred chefs as well as mastering his own culinary prowess, until finally coming to the island nation and working at Au Petit Salut.
